No. Contact us during regular business hours to discuss availability. After-hours messages are returned during regular business hours. For fire, smoke, injury or immediate danger, move to safety and call 911.
What if I smell burning near electrical equipment?
Do not touch or investigate the equipment. Move away. If you suspect a fire, see smoke or face immediate danger, leave the area and call 911 from a safe location. Do not wait for an appointment.
Should I keep resetting a tripping breaker?
No. Repeated trips need diagnosis. Stop using the affected circuit, do not bypass protection and contact an electrician. Do not open the panel to investigate.
Should I call the utility about an outage?
Report neighborhood outages and damaged utility lines to your utility. Stay away from downed wires. For power loss limited to your property or part of the home, an electrician may need to investigate; utility coordination may still be necessary.
Can damaged equipment be repaired?
It depends on the equipment and damage. Some devices or connections can be repaired or replaced individually. Water exposure or extensive damage may require replacement and further investigation before power can be restored.
Can you work on older home wiring?
We assess existing wiring and discuss repair, circuit replacement or broader rewiring when the findings support it. Access, materials and the rest of the system affect the scope.
