Our Story
Sylvester Electric began in 1979 when Thomas Sylvester set out to provide honest, dependable electrical service to local homeowners and businesses. His son Chris grew up helping on summer jobs, earning money for baseball cards and learning how much it matters to treat customers fairly.
After completing his electrical apprenticeship and earning his Journeyman and Master Electrician licenses, Chris joined the company full time in 1999. He took over and incorporated Sylvester Electric in 2004. Today, those early lessons still guide how we work.
A family business, backed by a local team
Chris leads Sylvester Electric, and his wife Kim manages the accounting and administrative side of the business. Our office team and directly employed electricians work together to help customers understand their options and take the next step.
From our base at 1794 Bridge Street, Unit 9a in Dracut, we serve homes, businesses and managed properties throughout Merrimack Valley and nearby Southern New Hampshire. Check our service areas or call to confirm coverage for your address.
